Hm, but I reboot my machine and just login with trinity I thought the KDE4 network manager should not matter, it should not run, or are you saying it is anyhow. Hm, I had this szenario for the ever since trinity came out. I just downloaded and installed trinity live, so far it behaves as expected, no conflict, I keep my finger crossed.
