I'm on linux mint 18.2 mate 64bit
i can see the grapes in xed, libreoffice, firefox, vlc, kiten and synaptic. 
But in none of trinity apps.....

you meant options > set encoding?
already on auto-detect

in here "Miscellaneous Technical"
firefox shows almost all of them
konqueror shows almost none.

i'm not obsessive about this, i'll install 14.0.5 when it comes out.
