Yes. Thierry mentioned that method in his OP.

It wasn't clear to me if he did rather mean mouse wheel over the desktop 
background. That's not configured with via right click on pager (in kicker) -> 
options -> check "Cycle on Wheel" but in tde control center as I wrote in my 
previous post.
