On closer inspection, we found that the provider, on the way to
mirror.xcer.cz, has a compromised MikroTik that modifies the passing http
traffic. Although this MikroTik is under the provider's responsibility,
the colleague has corrected the problem.
In any case, be always wary of whether the GPG signature for apt sources
and packages is OK.
