	grepping "kde" in $HOME/.config/menus/applications-tdemenuedit.menu gets me 
120 occurances of entries beginning with "kde4-", 0 occurances of "kde-".  I 
also noticed, though, that I only got the first of the three startup messages 
this time when I logged into this account. (?)
