The problem with login when the password has special characters (accents, umlaut....) has not been fixed in
R14.0.6-dev and R14.1.0-dev.

Please note that if the user name contains special characters, login is possible but TDE launcher seems to crash after
the session is started and the user ends up with an empty unusable desktop.
For this other problem, a separate issue has been logged into TGW. Please refer to tdebase#22
