I still have the disappearing menu items in OpenOffice though. let's say I activate a minimized OO window; then the menu items are visible. if I pass the mouse over them, they disappear as a group but the individual item will appear directly under the mouse. it's tolerable but it would be nice to fix. as far as I can tell, other things, at least things I use the most, are civilized. f. -- Felmon Davis
