Hi Gene,

good it works. You mention picnc ... is it worth to give it a try? I have my RPi3 with hal_gpio running quite fine, but only 2 cores are usable for userspace, which makes things a bit slow. But my cheesecutter works quite fine with it, running TDE on RPi3 and getting ~ 12 mm/s (720mm/min) with hal_gpio :-)
