 yes.
 and don't forget to pass the '-thread' option to configure afterwards.

 possible, yes.
 but not quite easy to setup.
 would need to install everything trinity-related (incl. qt!) to 
 something like
 /opt/trinity_test
 and also do some modifications to display-manager startup scripts.
