No, the files don't xist.

And as far as the ATI support is concerned, i understand that the problem 
would be with a kernel module ?

By now, i use to start with kernel 5.4

but still have the possibility, via grub, to start with kernel 4.19.

Doing so makes absolutely no difference as far as the slowness is concerned.
