Perhaps we should understand and test your use case. I was testing the day before on a VM and older Notebook D520 with the default multimedia keys (usb keyboard with MM keys and MM combination FN+<n>). I see on the internet that on the Thinkpad X1 FN+1 = Mute FN+2 = decrease volume FN+3 = increase volume So it seems that default MM keys are being used on your end. I believe the patch will work for you, so be patient or if you can recompile the code, you could help testing it :) regards
