Maybe you will have to start, once you have built it. Or if you build it, 
maybe the cocktail parties will come to you. 

As a matter of fact, I do have a pretty nice soldering iron, but now it is in 
my storage unit, which is far, far away from here. 

It would be a total badass feat, though, to be able to build a phone oneself. 
You have put the thought in my head.
