Okay, I will do that. But how can I generate the backtrace?
I'm sorry for the noob question. I have never done that before.
Also, I cannot see any Shutdown option. Although I know it might be 
something that has to do with the display manager (I use GDM), KDE 4 has 
Shutdown and Restart options.
