Yes, the snag is that I and Ubuntu never seem to be able to live together. :-(  
Alan Pope tells me that i can't expect Ubuntu to love me until I first love 
it.  

But that is certainly one of the possibilities.  I shall have to give it 
serious consideration.  I shall have to ask my husband which possibility he 
is prepared to consider.

Thanks for the information.  It is a good sign that any of the mirrors is up.
