"Theme=whatever" in /etc/trinity/kdm/kdmrc sets the kdm theme,

If that theme does not exist it will gripe. I don't know where 
debian-moreblue comes from, my system has it. Try changing for one that 
does exist in yours, e.g.

/opt/trinity/share/apps/kdm/themes/o2_enterprise
