Hello, Patrick.  I think you may have misinterpreted Greg's response.  I
would have taken that as a Fedora 16 would be great, there is a problem
which may cause you unnecessary grief so you might want to wait until it
is resolved, and continuing after that resolution is entirely up to you
as a matter of being respectfully and politely non-imposing on you.  

Certainly no problems here with someone trying to enhance the project
and needing to ask questions.  In fact, thank you very much for your
perseverance and willingness to ask; I would love to see Trinity running
on Fedora 16.  Peace :) - John
