Erm...  How much later?  I tried several times yesterday evening and again 
this morning.  I had to give the computer back to its owner!

Is this a regular occurrence, and do I need to come to the conclusion that 
Trinity is only usable when I am installing for members of my own household?

I have sadly gradually been coming to the conclusion that Trinity is probably 
a DE for geeks.  This is not a complaint; I think that you are all wonderful 
and am full of admiration for what you are doing.  But I am beginning to 
wonder whether I should be trying to use it.  I don't use Sid (Debian 
unstable) because I could not get myself out of trouble.  Perhaps on the same 
logic, I ought not to use Trinity. :-(
