I think "the next Trinity release will hopefully be compatible, but I won't be 
repackaging the current Trinity release for the Ubuntu version in question, because
I have too much on my plate and don't have the time" would be more accurate.  
You can still grab the source and try to build, the same as anyone else whose 
distro isn't presently supported.
