I don't know why you gave me the ..../trinity-builddeps/... URLs. I got errors when they were in apt/sources, and a browser inspection shows no lucid entry under the dist/ directory. I removed those 2. With the other two in apt/sources, I get: jonesy@nix4:~$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade : : : : Hit http://us.archive.ubuntu.com lucid-updates/universe Packages Hit http://us.archive.ubuntu.com lucid-updates/universe Sources Hit http://us.archive.ubuntu.com lucid-updates/multiverse Packages Get:1 http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net lucid Release.gpg [316B] Hit http://deb.opera.com stable/non-free Packages Hit http://us.archive.ubuntu.com lucid-updates/multiverse Sources Ign http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/ubuntu/ lucid/main Translation-en_US Get:2 http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net lucid Release [22.1kB] Ign http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net lucid Release Hit http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net lucid/main Packages Hit http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net lucid/main Sources Fetched 317B in 5s (62B/s) Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. The "W: GPG error: ..." is only a warning, right? It's not a show stopper? I believe I should've gotten a "Are you sure you want to proceed?" query -- _IF_ there was any updating to be done. But, it claims there is nothing to upgrade. Sure enough, if I drill down into ....../trinity/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/binary-i386/ , I see empty files. I am being re-directed from http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/ubuntu to http://trinity.blackmag.net/trinity/ubuntu/ Does that have anything to do with the current 'outage' with xxxxxxxx@...? What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Jonesy -- Marvin L Jones | jonz | W3DHJ | linux Pueblo, Colorado | @ | Jonesy | OS/2 __ 38.238N 104.547W | config.com | DM78rf | SK
