Does anyone know >why and how it ends up in LD_PRELOAD? It looks as if the kgtk-qt3 adds that. From the app's README: 1. kgtk-wrapper determines whether the application is a Gtk2, Qt3, or Qt4 application. It then sets the LD_PRELOAD environment variable to point to the approriate KGtk library. and the gtk2/kgtk2-wrapper.cmake does indeed add libnspr4.so to LD_PRELOAD as well as $PREFIX/lib/kgtk/libkgtk2.so. I don't know why, does libkgtk2.so perhaps need libnspr4 ? Nick -- "The Internet, a sort of ersatz counterfeit of real life" -- Janet Street-Porter, BBC2, 19th March 1996
