Yes, I had noticed a friendly name.

I have a short list.  But I have been waiting for my husband to go away before 
potentially kyboshing his box.

Hopefully, I shall get the whole thing installed and working in a short time, 
but realisticaly it is likely to take me ages.  I have to understand what is 
happening in order for me to be able to show him.

I and my husband are both still using Lenny, in order to avoid that *^&"$* KDE 
4.  So I am intending to use the computer he used last time to record his 
book to test out Squeeze and Trinity.
