I've just spotted another odd Kmail behaviour !
The copy of the mail that I just sent ended up in the folder with the 
message that I replied to, so I decided to move it into the correct 
(sent mail) folder by dragging and the message I replied to also got 
moved into the sent mail folder.

Very odd !  I've not seen that happen before.
