OK, Alexandre, will download and try the 32-bit one.  Takes a couple of 
hours on this slow connection.  Will post the results.

FWIW.  I added the Trinity repositories to the 64-bit Mint install using 
the instructions at ...

 but only got the dreaded "404 not found" message when I tried 
to "apt-get update" - bugger!  Where have the repos gone?
