Oh, dear. I have obviously expressed myself very badly. I'm so sorry, Tim.
I most emphatically do *not* think that TDE is a scam. Far from it. But I
think a large in your face demand for money would appear so to a great many
people.

I believe that you have got that your notice just about right now. Clearly
visible, but not aggressive. I am quite sure that TDE does not have a bad
image. I rather fear that for most people it has no image at all. :-( I
keep trying to publicise it. I must obviously do more.

You and Alexandre caught me at a bad moment. I cannot apologise enough for
the impression I have apparently given.

I had no idea that donations were such a tiny trickle. It sounds to me as
though even the widow's mite could make a significant contribution to the
finances!

If you are getting in so small an amount, I don't wonder that you can keep
track! I'll try to do something regularly for a bit, and I'll try to get at
least one of the three people I support on TDE to give something too. I had
no idea that things were so bad.

I wish that I could communicate by some method that is less prone to
misunderstanding. But I must do my best with the tools at my disposal.

I was feeling very vulnerable when I wrote. I am now feeling militant. Your
coffers are more likely to benefit from my militancy than from my
vulnerability.

You are doing a marvellous and valuable job. We all just need to show that we
value it.
