Some Mageia package depend on packages older than those installed...

Hello all,

I've been trying again to install TDE on Mageia 3 (following the install
instructions). Most of it seems OK, but the install fails with a message
saying some packages can't be installed because they depend on packages older
than those installed.

The packages in question are trinity-perld-dcop, trinity-tdebindings and
trinity-desktop.

However, I've noticed that links, when installing software from Mageia,
contain a directory "cauldron", and uname -a returns an "mga4" element. I
associate "cauldron" with a development version, am I right?

So could it be that I somehow got a development version of Mageia? The md5
hash of my DVD is not the same as that given on the mageia site ?!?

I am re-downloading a fresh image from Mageia 3 now, but if anyone has more
knowledge about Mageia than me, I'd be happy for any information about the
version I should install for TDE...

Regards,

Thierry
