I've added an option for 'Play with VLC', which executes the command 'vlc
/dev/dvd', which works perfectly in the equivalent place in XFCE. But in
Trinity, VLC fails with the error in my first post on this problem:
'/media/cdrom0 is a folder, but a file was expected.'

But, if I double-click on the DVD's desktop icon, which mounts it and opens
it in Konqueror, then close that window and go back and select 'Play with
VLC', it works.

If the problem were with VLC, it wouldn't work in XFCE either, but it does.
So I think the problem is something with Trinity.
