My only thought in this is that there may be a package needed by
Trinity that is not on DVD#s 1-3 (although I cannot imagine how!), and
it's showing up as "held" because it's not in the available archive.

I assume if you can't network-install, you also can't network-update.

As a side note, this couldn't be related to being a 64bit system?
Maybe a :i386 library is required by accident?
