I was wondering the same thing. :-D 
My meaning got lost in translation! hah! 
 
To clarify: 
 
1. I run Audacity (installed). 
2. I run Kaffeine (installed).
3. I run WINE (installed, obviously ha!)
 
All three of these programs will work *IF* I install an older 
version of each. New versions of apps don't always work better. 

WINE 1.6.1 won't run many of my programs. I need 1.4.x 

and...

Kaffeine 1.2.2 is a piece of garbage. I need 0.8.
