I've tried that route and had mucho trouble getting them to install/run under the new libs. So now I stick with what is in the repos. I'm not that tech savvy when I comes to compiling and installing. Plus I worry about wrecking what already works! So far TDE-Kubunto seems to have what I'm looking for. And I too want to get away from KDE 4... :-D --- Original Message --- From: Jonesy <trinity@...> To: trinity-users@... Subject: Re: [trinity-users] Last Kubuntu Version That Came With KDE3? I think you should be able to find the older version(s) of what you are worried about -- maybe at SourceForge, maybe at a devoted web site. You may need to compile from source to get them to play nice with new/updated distro libraries. For instance, I installed an "older" version of KDE on this system to get away from KDE 4. :-) Just my thoughts. Jonesy
