True! However in my opinion it shares this place with Konqueror as a file 
manager. How they could ditch it for Dolphin I can't understand.

I could live with KDE 4 's kmail (I did use it, however in an older version) 
but I miss Konqueror (KDE 4's version actualy uses Dophin for the file 
managing part).
