Well, I have to admit I'd never done it before.  I just tried a few from
kde-look.org, and found that many are in formats that don't work as is, but
need to be compiled or something.  Those that download as a theme file with
.kth extension seem to work, however.  (...but some of them are rather
hideous, and defeat the purpose of a simple, functional desktop.)

Just a caution repeated from the help file:  If you have any customizations
you want to save, be sure to create a theme to save them before changing to
another theme.
