Thanks, that worked, but kdm is not starting fast, it kind of blanks to 
a gray then black screen before I see the cursor and then kdm starts? 
I'm not a speed demon, so it's OK with me, just wanted to let you know.

No, this was a clean Lenny base install then I added the Trinity packages.
