Jessie works perfectly with sysv. all you have to do is install sysvinit-core and deinstall systemd-sysv. 2. Tde stuck on 5th icon on startup doesnt seem to be related to systemd or even jessie, it looks more like a bug in preliminary-stable version of tde.
