As soon as all mirrors have synchronized, we will announce R14.0.1 official availability. For rpm-based distro, I leave it to Francois to comment on when packages will be ready, since he is the one putting in all the (enormous) effort in maintaining those distros. About compiling problems, not sure what you are referring to as "massive problems". Can you be more specific? Also which distro do you want to build TDE for? In general those, TDE builts pretty well in Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Fedora, CentOS, EL AFAICT.
