i installed the Trinity metapackages : >desktop-base-trinity, kdebase-trinity, and
kdepim-trinity. These do no include k3b. i installed k3b explicitly.

a handy Debian tool to see what depends/reccommends on what, what will get
installed if you install this package

$ Apt-cache rdepends k3b-trinity
Reverse Depends:
  kipi-plugins-trinity
  dolphin-trinity
  k3b-data-trinity
  k3b-data-trinity

'apt-cache show' will output lots of info also, recommends, suggests and depends.
