One usually do not answer a question with question.
I very well know that this is a package provided, but I do not need it and
it pulls a lot of dependencies. From what I understood it is KDE4 or KDE5,
but not used by trinity.

This is why I am asking here

I want to ignore the dependency in google-chrome package so that I do not
have to uninstall/install google-chrome.
As each google product it is nasty - it sets default alternative to chrome
each time I install it, so I have additional overhead, but I need it for
testing some web sites

So again is there a way to modify the dependency of the package after it is
installed and where ...

thanks
