AFAIR screen is related to GPU (in contrast to virtual screen).
Monitor does not require explanation. It is what it is.
Display is what is displayed on the Monitor at a time - you can have more
displays and switch between them on the same monitor.

So usually you have one card with one screen and one or more monitors that
are handled by the X server. The display part is done by the desktop you
use.
You could also install multiple cards with multiple outputs you would have
more screens and monitors.
