I had looked there and not seen it....  As I said to someone else, my brain 
seems to have blocked up with especially thick, dark treacle. :-(

All is great now, with one exception.  Although I can give each desktop its 
own background - to show the type of thing available - and although I am 
going to each individual background section to change the font colour, all 
editing I do to the font colour is universal.

I would like each desktop to have a different colour of text to go with the 
different backgrounds.  This I can still not achieve.
