In fact, I can't install or upgrade > anything now. > If you mix repositories, never use apt-get. run aptitude and look what exactly causes this, because its most likely some manually installed package from 3-rd party/unstable that has higher priority in apt-get conflict resolution logic than auto installed packages (including trinity and Xorg).
