Hi there.

After starting my laptop I notices that my two Kate instances had forgot 
the session they had open.

Also, Konsole forgot its open tabs and the settings/schema/paper background.

These were easy enough to restore but in case it's a symptom of a more 
serious problem I thought I'd run it by the list.

Also, shutdown didn't complete so I had to hard-reset the laptop with 
the press-the-power-button-down-for-5-seconds trick, not nice!
