For the autostart part: Open konqueror, go to ~/.trinity/Autostart, create a new shortcut to a program, on the 3rd tab select the programs binary. Save the shortcut. Recheck the correctness of the programs location (sometimes the path gets mixed when creating the icon): RMB on the shortcut item, 3rd tab, 3rd line, if it contains a wrong path information correct it and save it. For the "system tray" part: Do you mean the systray part or the application launcher part? There's a systay with these little icons (tdepowermanager, kmixer ...). If your application supports systray icons, its icon will appear there. If no, it won't :-) If it's the "application launcher": Unlock with "RMB/Unlock ...", then drag an icon (e.g. the one you've already created on the desktop) to the desired location. You may want to lock it again ... Nik > > Thanks for any pointers on this! > > > -George > Hi George! -- Please do not email me anything that you are not comfortable also sharing with the NSA.
