Can you describe what you did, what you expected and what actually happened?

For the autostart part: Open konqueror, go to ~/.trinity/Autostart, create a new shortcut to a program, on the 3rd tab select the programs binary. Save the shortcut. Recheck the correctness of the programs location (sometimes the path gets mixed when creating the icon): RMB on the shortcut item, 3rd tab, 3rd line, if it contains a wrong path information correct it and save it.

For the "system tray" part: Do you mean the systray part or the application launcher part? There's a systay with these little icons (tdepowermanager, kmixer ...). If your application supports systray icons, its icon will appear there. If no, it won't :-)
If it's the "application launcher": Unlock with "RMB/Unlock ...", then drag an icon (e.g. the one you've already created on the desktop) to the desired location. You may want to lock it again ...

Hi George!

Please do not email me anything that you are not comfortable also sharing with the NSA.
