Same here and I'm just wondering why it is so hard for some people ;)

In fact when I press PrintScreen button KSnapshot starts automatically 
The copy-paste is not working always. I think it depends if a program
supports the binary image from the clipboard to be embedded in some way
into the content. KMail asks usually for file name for the attachment.
This news reader is doing nothing. I have to go through "save as" and normal
attach process.
I'm using the news reader part of the kontact. Is it working for you?
