Ok Lisi, after installing those files, and a logout/login, I had some new 
selections in the mouse menu.  Choosing the big red one without the bold 
border, regular thin one fits my aging eyeballs nicely. But to  put it 
into use requires yet another logout/login.

So yes, I believe it has alleviated some of my problem, but I suspect I 
can still see better than you from some of the comments you have made, 
but I hope it does help.  Let us know plz.
