I cannot find 'html' nor 'HTML' in the 53 files in:
~/.trinity/share/mimelnk/
     ./application:
     ./audio:
     ./image:
     ./text:
     ./video:

If, in fact, by "is the extension..." you mean
one of "html" or "HTML".
