I've now done 15 tde-trinity installs on 5 different computers and now
realize the icons on the desktop do not update until after I've
restarted the desktop and now I've only deleted all the home system
files just the one time, now I delete the system cache and old kde files
created by previous kde install and restart the desktop. Or even easier
after installing trinity I delete system files before first boot to
trinity desktop and then reboot to the new trinity desktop and remove
old kde packages. So for me the icon problem is solved.
