Glen, I did eventually find that info you mentioned.  I also 
discovered from the HP web site, that the same machine comes in a lot 
of variants.  There is little information to identify which has what 
in terms of main boards, graphics cards, sound cards etc.

I managed to contact the dealer just before they shut up shop for the 
weekend and asked them to supply the exact specifications for the 
model that I'm interested in.  They have promised to get back to 
me...
