Yes, and Thanks, but this would mean that I
a) can ccess the folder at the command line (which, for a reason I have not 
yet cleared, does not seem to work)
b) mv each file by hand, escaping all problem elements in teh file name

In that case, ripping and re-encoding all the tracks is much, much easier :)
