Better yet, don't use ext4.  Years ago I considered switching to ext4, so
looked at it compared to ext3, and concluded that ext4 has a slightly
greater chance of data loss.  So I stayed with ext3.  I'm now just beginning
to gradually switch over to btrfs because of its defrag capability.
