The problem is with the WYSIWYG concept itself; the code generator doesn't have any intelligence, either syntactic or semantic, so when one is creating or maintaining a web page with such a package, it can't normalize the markup, it just keeps inserting More markup to make the final page look right. It's possibly worthwhile to use such a tool when all one needs is a very simple webpage, but then, it's just as easy to write the markup directly with a text editor. Leslie
