BTDT Nik, even hand edited the ppd. Something in the filters category is 
just plain striping 90% of the option stuff in the ppd. TDEPrint seems 
to be aware of it, and refuses to even try, so does gv. evince and 
okular play dumb and shove it down the pipe anyway, ignoreing the 
spillage. What I really expect is for it to start working by the time I 
download an official buster image.
